The YES PACT hosts regional showcases to share knowledge and highlight progress made by its members in influencing policy to address youth employment and skills issues. The upcoming showcase celebrates the successful completion of the YES PACT pilot phase. The event will focus on the journey of each YES PACT Chapter, including challenges, achievements, impacts, and future plans for influencing policy in their respective countries.
The webinar will take place on the 26th April 2023 at 10:00-12:00 GMT via Zoom for a wider audience to participate in the conversation. The webinar will have Anchor Institutions (AIs) of the YES PACT Chapters present on their YES PACT journey during the 1st phase of the project in their respective countries. Each presentation will focus on AIs’ challenges, achievements, and next steps on implementing PACT. This will be followed by a breakout session where participants will discuss ways to enhance the overall impact of the YES PACT in influencing policy at the national and regional levels. The breakout session will have 3 groups focusing on the following topics:
Group 1: Sustainability of YES PACT
- Energizing YES PACT Members: Strategies for Sustainable Engagement and Success
Group 2: Enhancing policy uptake and implementation
- Driving Change through Action: Engaging Stakeholders for Enhanced Policy Implementation
Group 3: Developing tailored activities and workplans
- Results-Driven: Developing tailored YES PACT Activities for Long-Term Success
Feedback and suggestions from the discussion will be valuable for the next phase of the YES PACT project.
