Job Summary

The Program Development Analyst Initiates and supports the development process for identified opportunities for partnership and resource mobilization and manages the partnerships database.

 

Roles and Responsibilities

 Specifically the Program Development Analyst:

  • Continuously scans for, and assesses potential opportunities aligned with ACET priorities (potential partners, RFPs, RFQs etc.).
  • Contributes to design and strategy development for assigned proposal opportunities.
  • Drafts portions of proposals and expressions of interest (EOIs) for assigned opportunities.
  • Conducts background research for proposal opportunities and participates in assessments as needed.
  • Compiles and integrates reviewer feedback into narratives.
  • Develops and maintains partnership briefs.
  • Maintains ACET pursuit tracker.
  • Delivers related special projects.
  • Any other duties as may be assigned from time to time in support of ACET’s Resource Mobilization and Partnership goals.

Education/Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree with 3+ years relevant experience or a master’s degree with 1 year of related experience from a policy institute, civil society organization, academic institution, or a similar organization.

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities 

  • Strong research skills. Must be able to efficiently gather, compile and synthesize relevant information.
  • Excellent writing skills, including ability to write under pressure and adhere to tight deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a high performing and collaborative team environment.
  • Highly analytical with strong interpersonal skills and a good sense of humor.
  • Self-starter who knows when to seek input.
  • Able to work in a dynamic environment and can appropriately prioritize competing demands.
  • High proficiency with the MS Office suite.
