Stephen Yeo was until 2014 the Chief Executive Officer of the Centre for Economic Policy Research (CEPR), a leading European research network in economics that brings together over 900 European economists, and is the focus of most European research on international trade and trade policy.
Yeo also has extensive experience in research and capacity building in Sub-Saharan Africa. He worked with the Department of Trade and Industry in South Africa to establish the Trade and Industrial Policy Secretariat, and later established the Southern African Trade Research Network (SATRN).
