Brenda Chongo Chanda is the Head of Economic Management and Governance, overseeing research on macroeconomic issues to provide evidence-based insights aimed at helping policymakers navigate through economic challenges and seize opportunities, including advocating for policies that foster sound economic management with a view to drive Africa’s long-term economic transformation.
She has over 15 years of extensive experience in the public sector, specializing in public debt management, fiscal risk management, and public policy analysis.
Brenda holds a Masters’ Degree in Economics from the University of Zambia, and she is also a Certified Risk Officer from the Swiss Institute of Management and Innovation, Switzerland.
