As Communications Manager, Belinda plays several roles, including coordinating ACET’s media relations work to ensure that the institution has a voice at local, regional, and global levels. She supports the Director of Communications in the supervision and coordination of communications work across the organization, and also works towards strengthening partnerships with communications teams in partner institutions.
Belinda has vast experience working in Ghana’s media landscape. Before joining ACET, she worked for nine years with Ghana’s state news agency, the Ghana News Agency (GNA), where she began as a reporter and left as Chief Reporter.
Belinda holds a Master of Arts Degree in Development Communication and a Bachelor of Arts Degree in Public Relations from the Ghana Institute of Journalism. She is a member of the Ghana Journalists Association and the Alliance for Women in Media Africa.
Belinda is based in Accra and is fluent in English, Twi, Gurune (Frafra), and Ga.
