ACET Names Tegan Rogers as New Director of Communications
Accra, Ghana – October 2025: The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) has appointed Tegan Rogers as its new Director of Communications, effective October 2025.
Tegan will lead ACET’s strategic communications, knowledge management, and advocacy, supporting its work to amplify Africa’s voice on global development issues and accelerate economic transformation across the continent.
With more than 15 years of experience leading communications across international think tanks, NGOs, and policy institutions, Tegan joins ACET from ODI Global, where she led the global communications strategy and amplified the organization’s influence on critical policy challenges from the climate crisis to economic inequality.
Her appointment comes as ACET finalizes a new five-year strategy to position the organization as a leading voice in shaping Africa’s transformation agenda.
“Tegan could not be joining us at a better time,” said Mavis Owusu-Gyamfi, President and CEO of ACET. “As Africa’s priorities take center stage in global conversations, clear and strategic communications are vital. Tegan’s experience and vision will help us deepen our engagement and tell Africa’s story with authenticity and impact.”
In her new role, Tegan will oversee ACET’s communications, brand, and advocacy work, supporting policymakers, businesses, youth, and other partners in pushing for inclusive and sustainable economic transformation across the continent.
