President Akufo-Addo calls on colleagues to ratify Africa trade protocol

President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has called on African leaders to ratify the protocol on Continental free trade area describing it as a powerful tool for developing Africa and bringing prosperity to the continent.

President Akufo-Addo noted that Africa has the capacity to use its own resources to develop the continent.

The President made the call in Accra at a panel discussion at the African Centre for Economic Transformation forum at the Mövenpick Ambassador Hotel in Accra.

The forum, which also had on the panel, Rwandan leader Paul Kagame, and Cote d’Ivoire’s Vice President Daniel Kablan Duncan, and Nigerian business mogul, Aliko Dangote, rounded off activities marking the second African Transformation Forum hosted by the African Centre for Economic Transformation (ACET).
