ACET EVP discusses policies for Africa’s recovery post COVID-19

Accra, Sept. 1, 2020 – Mavis Owusu-Gyamfi, ACET’s Executive Vice President, was a guest recently on CNBC-Africa’s ‘Power Lunch East Africa’ hosted by Fiona Muthoni.

The discussion centered on domestic resource mobilisation and how governments can boost voluntary compliance, Africa’s debt situation as well as sustaining digitization post COVID-19.

Ms. Owusu-Gyamfi also highlighted ACET’s call for an extension to the debt service suspension until 2021, the need for public sector reforms and capacity building, as well as investing in facilitating private-sector-led growth.
