Zambia is one of the 15 countries featured in the 2014 African Transformation Report (ATR). The report sounded alarm on Zambia’s dependence on copper. The ATR recommended tourism, cut flowers, sugar, and high-value financial services as the highest potential areas for spurring growth and development through links with other sectors. But they face challenges and risks that will need to be carefully considered product by product.
