This learning event will explore Côte d’Ivoire’s ongoing efforts to empower youth through coordinated and strategic reforms in technical and vocational education and training (TVET). Drawing on national strategies, institutional experiences, and cross-sector engagement, the session will highlight how ministries and stakeholders are working together to strengthen the responsiveness of the TVET system to youth employment needs. It will also reflect on key challenges such as fragmentation in policy implementation, limited private sector integration, and capacity gaps – while discussing opportunities for collaboration between the Ministry of Youth and the Ministry of Technical Education and Vocational Training to ensure a more inclusive and effective skills ecosystem.
