On July 13, 2016, the African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET) in partnership with the National Development Planning Commission (NDPC) and the World Bank organized a national dialogue on youth employment challenges in Ghana.
The national dialogue shared knowledge on the issue of youth employment challenges to understand it from various perspectives. It also offered political parties contesting the 2016 elections the opportunity to demonstrate their capacity, capability and readiness to address youth employment challenges.
The dialogue brought together experts and senior officials from key government ministries, departments and agencies, political parties, the private sector, a broad range of development partners, civil society organizations, academia, the media, etc. to explore solutions that work, informed by new research findings on the issue.
