This validation workshop was the second in a series of a six country (Burkina Faso, Ghana, Rwanda, Uganda, Tanzania and Zambia) study on external development finance. Ghana held its validation workshop on April 28, 2016 at Accra.

The Burkina Faso validation workshop presented key findings and recommendations of the country report to stakeholders. It also provided a platform for stakeholders to validate the research findings, provide inputs and exchange experiences and knowledge on the external development finance, and identify and propose focused, strategic and feasible interventions to strengthen management, coordination and delivery of external development finance at the country level.

The meeting brought together experts and senior officials from key government ministries, department and agencies, broad range of development partners, civil society organizations, academia, the media etc. playing critical roles in the country’s external development finance (EDF) architecture.
