Operational Policies

Overview

ACET is an implementing partner to the World Bank’s Think Africa Partnership, a multi-donor trust fund aiming to translate knowledge into economic policy action.

As part of the partnership, ACET will be strengthening our Environmental and Social (E&S) safeguarding measures, with a particular focus on the prevention of sexual abuse and exploitation, and sexual harassment (SEA/SH).

In this pursuit, ACET has developed an Environmental and Social Commitment Plan (ESCP) that outlines the planned steps and actions towards stronger E&S framework. We have also created an SEA/SH Action plan that details the activities ACET will undertake to enhance our SEA/SH risks prevention measures.

Additionally, we have drafted a Stakeholder Engagement Plan that outlines ACET’s strategic approach to stakeholder engagement.

Lastly, ACET has established a Labor Management Procedures, designed to address labor related risks associated with the implementation of the TAP project.

An updated version of the ESCP was uploaded May 5th 2022, while updated versions of the Stakeholder Engagement Plan, the SEAH Action plan, and the Labour Management Procedures were uploaded on May 26th 2022.
