…on Small Holder Agriculture in West Africa: A Case Study of Burkina Faso

The African Center for Economic Transformation (ACET), in partnership with the Ford Foundation, will organize a stakeholder participation workshop on The Impact of Expanding Artisanal and Small Scale Mining (ASM) on Small Holder Agriculture in West Africa: A Case Study of Burkina Faso on Tuesday 7th March 2017 at the Sopatel Silmande Hotel in Ouagadougou, Burkina Faso, from 09:00am to 1:00pm.

The workshop, which is the third and final in a series of workshops, seeks to validate the findings and present evidence on the incidence of resource use conflict between artisanal mining and agriculture in Burkina Faso. Similar studies have been carried out in Ghana and Sierra Leone, with their validation workshops held on 1st and 14th February respectively.
