K.Y. Amoako, Founder and President
In 2008, I started ACET to harness predominantly African talent to provide our governments with rigorous policy research and advice on transforming their economies. Many donors, governments—including several African heads of states—and other development players lauded the idea and endorsed ACET’s mission. This document highlights how that idea has become reality and how we plan to expand our reach and deepen our impact.
Africa has been making great strides in economic growth over the past decade. At ACET, we continue to believe that the continent’s future rests on its economic transformation—creating enough productive jobs, imparting the right skills for a modern economy, improving people’s living standards, and fostering cohesive societies. So how do we get there? We have designed and continue to build ACET for that purpose, and we invite you to join us on this exciting journey toward our vision of an Africa transformed by Africans.
