Funding

Since ACET’s inception in 2007, the following have contributed in support of our mission of promoting sustained growth and economic transformation in Africa.

The Government of Ghana made a contribution for general operating support and also donated a building, located in the heart of Accra, for use as ACET’s secretariat.

DFID made a grant for general operational support and for our advisory work on economic transformation.

Hewlett Foundation has provided a number of grants for general operational support.

Government of the Netherlands has made a contribution in support of ACET’s programs over the period 2009-2011.

The Rockefeller Foundation made a number of grants for the preparation of ACET’s business plan,  general operational support, and for a study on the benefits and challenges of China’s engagements in Africa.

The World Bank provided grants under its institutional development facility and development grant facility to support our advisory and research work.

The Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (NORAD) provided support for our extractive services program.
